Initial visit: About an hour and 15. $120 (gst included)
Follow up: About an hour. $110 (gst included)
I typically recommend you book your second visit 1-3 weeks after the initial treatment. This is to monitor changes and build momentum for a lasting effect. Following this, treatment frequency depends on individual factors, keeping in mind that health is always present and the body has the ability to self-regulate.
Payment can be made by e-transfer, cheque, or cash. You will be emailed a receipt which you can submit to your insurance provider if you have coverage for osteopathy or athletic therapy. For clients who have open injury claims through MPI or the WCB, a portion of the athletic therapy treatment fee will be directly billed through your claim.
To bring with you:
- comfortable clothing you can move in and I can palpate through (i.e. shorts or stretchy bottoms, tank top or loose t-shirt)
- It is helpful to be able to observe/ palpate your spine and belly. Sometimes I may ask you to shift your clothing to allow assessment of these areas. We will always work at your comfort level.
- imaging reports, if any (MRI, x-rays, etc)
- insoles or orthotics if you use them
- MPI or WCB claim numbers if applicable
You are welcome to wear a mask to your appointment. I will meet your comfort level in that regard and also wear a mask if you are. On the day of your appointment, please visit the covid-19 screening tool: https://sharedhealthmb.ca/covid19/screening-tool/. If it is deemed that you should be getting tested for covid-19 and/or self isolating, please contact me to reschedule.
Prairie Manual Therapy is located at 98 Sherbrook, suite 200. Our entrance faces Westminster and is up a few steps. Here’s a google street view of the front door for clarification.
Parking is usually available directly behind the building by the lane. Please add your license plate number to the whiteboard inside our entrance if you are parked there. If you are cycling to your appointment, I recommend you lock your bike on Sherbrook street.
*Accessibility: The clinic space is up one flight of stairs. If this presents a limitation for you, please contact me so we may make alternative arrangements for your treatment.
Please give 24-hours notice for appointment changes. Appointments cancelled or rescheduled within 24-hours are subject to a $50 fee. Thanks for understanding.
